Unboxing the Vivobarefoot Motus Flex is an exciting experience for any footwear enthusiast. The shoes come in a sleek, eco-friendly box that immediately hints at the brand’s commitment to sustainability. Upon opening, the first thing that catches the eye is the minimalist yet stylish design of the Motus Flex. The lightweight construction and flexible sole are instantly noticeable, promising a barefoot feel. Each shoe is meticulously crafted, reflecting Vivobarefoot’s attention to detail and dedication to providing a natural walking and running experience.

4. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Functional Wearing

Wearing the Vivobarefoot Motus Flex provides numerous functional benefits, including enhanced proprioception and improved foot strength. The minimalist design encourages natural movement, promoting better posture and alignment, while the flexible sole allows for optimal ground feedback, which can enhance balance and agility during various activities.

5. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – General Wearing

For day-to-day wear, the Vivobarefoot Motus Flex offers exceptional comfort and versatility. Its lightweight and breathable design make it suitable for all-day use, whether you’re running errands, heading to the gym, or simply going for a walk, ensuring that your feet remain comfortable and supported throughout the day.

6. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Aesthetics

The Vivobarefoot Motus Flex comes in three colorways White Space Dye, Obsidian & Bright White. The White Space Dye option is particularly funky and was what drew me to this style in the first place but the sensible part of me knows the Obsidian or Bright White would be more versatile for pairing with more outfits etc. The sole reminds me almost of a shoe for dancing but they’ve been designed with calisthenics, primal movement and bodyweight training which makes them a really popular option for FEELING barefoot when you can’t be – and experience every sensation along the way.

7. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Comfort

Maximum underfoot sensory feedback on the The Vivobarefoot Motus Flex sole makes sure you are getting all the feels of being barefoot whilst still looking ultra stylish. The Active Ortholite Performance Insole is made of 98% recycled PU foam, which helps reduce waste and the use of virgin plastics but it also acts as another level of comfort for your feet. Mine felt great as soon as I slipped them on. The mesh element on the upper makes them extremely breathable, lightweight and comfortable. The more I wore them the more I fell in love.

8. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Durability

The Vivobarefoot Motus Flex comes with a free 100 day trial period which goes to show how confident they are in the durability of the shoe. I couldn’t see myself parting with mine and they’re showing no signs of wear and tear despite me wearing them for both what they were designed for but also having them in circulation for other random things I do whether that’s exercise or wearing them bowling, I’m getting all the bang for my buck basically. These definitely strike me as a very well made shoe, I have zero doubts in their durability.

9. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Price

Priced pretty predictably at £165 // $228 per pair – The Vivobarefoot Motus Flex sits within the ordinary (slightly upper) price range for their portfolio. They’re a newer style though so this is to be expected. As always, your barefoot shoes are going to be an investment. You’re investing in your future self, your future feet and your future fitness. If you’re serious about your barefoot shoes then the price hopefully won’t deter you. Yes, they’re not cheap but they have the specs to live up to the price bracket in my opinion.

10. Vivobarefoot Motus Flex – Summary

The Vivobarefoot Motus Flex is probably the most barefoot feeling performance trainer I have seen from Vivobarefoot thus far. Like, when you put these on you’re getting that true experience of being barefoot and I love the colorways. They’re available in both the men and women’s section of the Vivobarefoot website and these are a really solid choice – a great gateway drug if you’re considering the barefoot life. Come on in! The water’s lovely 😉
